It is geared toward the younger audience with cool features that appeals to their technology forward thinking and their need for environmental awareness. While they may have to sacrifice one or the other of these features with other phones with this and similar models, they can have the best of both worlds. It is an ecologically forward thinking phone that satisfies needs from the start to finish of the phone as well as having all of the features that make it a cool phone too.

The cell phone has evolved in its scope of use since its beginning and the way that the world stays connect and does business is changing as well. With more people doing business on the fly, it is important that they have a phone with all of the features that they need. It is also important that these phones do not do additional harm to the environment in the process.

Sim Free Mobile Phones ? An Irresistible Alternative

1956 saw the release of the first mobile phone, it weighed 40 kg and was commercially released in Sweden. The mobile phone industry has come a long way since then. By the 90s, mobile phones had became accessible to the common man and by 2000, they were well on the road to becoming an essential accessory. Today, we can not imagine a life without mobile phones. The third option – Sim Free mobile phones, is perfect for students or housewives who cannot afford expensive monthly bills or for people who travel a lot and are reluctant to pay hefty roaming charges. When buying a 'Sim Free' mobile phone, buyers purchase the handset and the sim card separately. This gives them larger freedom to choose their mobile brand and network provider without being tied down. Traveling businessmen can simply buy a handset they want and later purchase a sim card upon reaching their destination, hence saving money on roaming.

Sim Free mobile phones are available from all major handset manufacturers and even the latest mobile phone can be bought without a sim. Online shopping sites provide a great platform for buying Sim free mobile phones as they also offer various exciting deals such as cashback and free gifts that are sure to take your buying experience to new heights.

I would just like the droid like a regular phone just to text and call and buy the ocassional ringtones. I may get the features later but I would like to test it first. but do i have to pay the 30$ just to have the phone?

We Are Lost Without Mobile Phones

The day I received my first mobile phone was a glorious, exciting but still confusing day. My mother gave me this big, black block with big round buttons and an aerial almost as tall as I was. She stuffed it in my hand and told me to use it, and not abuse it. At the time I had no clue what she was talking about, but today I know exactly.

A mobile phone can better be described as a cordless, electronic device used to communicate with friends and family over a cellular network. Depending on your location, you can use this cell phone whether you are standing still or on the move; as long as you have sufficient airtime and signal. You can make and receive phone calls by connecting to a mobile network operator.

There are hundreds, maybe thousands of different cell phone brands available today. In South Africa, the most common ones would be Nokia, Sony Ericson, Samsung, Motorolla and LG. There are also many different types of cell phones available, and the variety is still fast growing: every single one trying to be better than the previous one. They evolved from electronic devices with green or blue background lights only able to SMS, call and play a certain number of games, to being almost like mini-computers. Today's models are able to send SMS, send and receive E-mail, access the internet, allow the user to play a number of advanced games, take pictures and videos with a built in camera, create music libraries and play MP3's, listen to any FM Radio station, access GPS maps and locations and even allows the user to add custom applications, like Facebook, Twitter or Skype. Every new model cell phone that is introduced to the public has more and more different applications and services and every one of them is trying to win the approval from consumers.

The first mobile phone weighed approximately 2kg! Imagine walking around with that every day! In 1990, approximately 12.4 million people all over the world had a cell phone. In 2009, another study showed that 12.4 billion people all around the world now had cell phones. That is 370 times the 1990 number!

The mobile phone was an amazing invention and a successful step into the future, but not everything about it is positive. For instance, people have been known to text and drive, often making accidents and causing the deaths of other people. We just do not know when to put it down because we are so focused on our businesses or social lives that we ignore the fact that we are putting ourselves and others in danger. It is also impacting the lives of children all over the world greatly. Children now get cell phones at the tender age of 8 or 9 years of age. Yes, a cell phone may be useful in an emergency, but it can also impact their academic careers in a negative way, and some parents fail to see this. There have also been concerns around the impact cell phones have on humans as well as animals' health. So far, nothing has been proven, but some still believe that it holds unnoticeable dangers to our health.

The mobile phone has surely made our lives a bit easier, but there are some concerns that need to be addressed around their existence.

Question by Taylor: How do I get my Motorolla phone to work with my computer.?
I recently got a Motorlla V197 and I know I can hook it up to the computer and download pictures and sounds to my phone from my hard drive or the internet. Somethings wrong though, the computer recongnizes it but it won't work. Do I need to download something or puchase software? Im not that computer savy so i need complete and descriptive answers.
