I highly recommend it! At first I thought that it wasn't providing enough battery for my iphone but then I turned my "push" notifications to "manual" for my emails.
So I discovered that my iphone lasts longer with the new setting.

Additionally, this extra battery is great just in case I end up waiting a lot in a day and catch up on emails/you tube videos. It was totally worth $50!

They created this product in such a modular way--you can charge both the iphone and the extra battery at the same time or just the battery using USB or AC adapter.

Also--another great thing is that I keep the charging set up on my night stand and listen to audio books before I sleep and I can easy see the display since it's on a stand.

Highly recommend!

On long flights my iPod Touch can run low when using it to play movies and television shows. This provides a soldi and easy to use backup battery which almost doubles my battery life. When used as a dock for charging, it can't get much easier. Just drop it and it charges without anything special. I had a $15 mail-in rebate which madeit even better.

As a dock, this product performs well as long as you use the provided Universal Dock inserts. However, if you happen to have a nice case that comes with a third party insert, the connection can be rather iffy. As long as you make sure to firmly press the iPhone into the dock, you'll be fine.

The supplied battery is merely ok. It charged my iPhone extremely slowly; in fact, I suspect that it charged the phone only slightly faster than the iPhone used power. Additionally, the battery fits very snugly to the iPhone. This requires one to remove any case from the phone, which is a pain.

I thought everything was great. The nightstand cradle is awesome and the phone fits nice and solid but the first time I tried to use the battery pack I learned that the connector is loose and keeps losing contact. So the battery pack charges the phone if you leave it perfectly still on a desk or hold it just right, but forget about putting it in a pocket or purse and expect it to charge your phone like it should. Mine only made an incessant bloinking noise as it constantly lost and reconnected with the battery. I really had high hopes for this, but I guess I'll have to ship it back and try something else. Maybe it's just me, but I've had bad luck a few times now with kensington accessories. The $100 FM modulator sounded terrible and the chargers only like half of my Ipods. I think I've finally learned my lesson. I'll update after the return to let you all know how it went.
